S23.E12: Tommy Baker's Hardest Fight - Law & Order: SVU

I think this may have been the best episode of the season, it’s not often that I praise the show, but a lot of this felt like classic, golden age SVU, it wasn’t perfect but given what we’ve had this season, it was superior to the usual quality of the current show. The case took a lot of good twists and turns, and there was good detective work from everyone. I never saw it coming that Phil would be involved, and I didn’t peg the culprit, my money was on Duke the first half of the episode, and I really liked the twist that instead of being a bigoted asshole Duke turned out to be an okay guy who wanted to make things up with Tommy before he died, that surprised me and I liked that.

Trouble on the Hill

It's at the heart of everything holy, the core of the message, a single phrase: Love thy neighbor. To which we might add, woe to him or her who learns to hate instead - as you're about to discover.  Once upon a time, in a paradise by the golden Pacific, up a quiet private road among the canyons of Carmel, lived three fine people.  And they were bright and loved and likeable and accomplished.

Bunny Chow: South Africa's Sweet-Sounding Dish Has A Not-So-Sweet Past

It's an Indian dish you're unlikely to find in India. Bunny chow is essentially a kind of bread bowl. You take a loaf of white bread, hollow out the middle and fill it with a curry, either vegetarian beans or some type of meat. But not rabbit. The name "bunny" comes from the corruption of an Indian term referring to merchants. The dish has its origins in Durban, South Africa's third-largest city.

The Peel Trident, unveiled in 1964, held the title of the world’s smallest car. Created by Peel Engineering Company on the Isle of Man, this fuel-efficient vehicle seated two people and had a top speed of 28 mph. Georgia fake electors scheme adds to Trump list of indictments

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on Monday charged former President Donald Trump and 18 other people with more than 40 counts related to his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results. It’s a case Willis has been building for 18 months, having launched her probe just one month after it became clear just how overt Trump had been in trying to subvert the will of Georgia’s voters. One of the central components in the indictment involves a scheme to use a supposed quirk in election law to replace the state’s 16 presidential electors with an unauthorized alternative slate.

Help me design a halfling bard!

(I played a bard up to 10th level, so here's my suggestions from a very successful and very fun character)First and foremost, don't dump your strength! Bards get melee buffing spells, light armor, and 3/4 BAB for a reason! Contrary to popular belief, you *don't* need an insanely high charisma. 14 is fine, 16 is ok too, but 18 is way overpriced for point buy, don't bother. Str 16 (14)
