The suspect in the 2019 murder of Patrick Murphy in New Orleans pled guilty to manslaughter charges.
According to court documents from the Orlean's Parish, Megan Hall, who was 25 at the time of her original arrest, pled guilty to manslaughter charges Monday during a pre-trial conference.
Hall's trial on the case was scheduled to begin on July 25th.
As part of her guilty plea, the original charge of 2nd Degree murder was amended to manslaughter.
Hall, who has spent the last 3 years in prison, could still spend up to an additional 25 years in prison for the charge.
